Challenge
As ShareMy.Health expanded its mission from pandemic-related health verification to broader issues like medication adherence, mental health, and malnutrition, the complexity of its operations increased. The platform struggled to scale its infrastructure quickly enough to support these growing use cases. Much of the backend logic was not optimized for cross-vertical integration, and the product lacked consistent performance across devices. And with an increasingly diverse user base, from nonprofits to global employers, ShareMy.Health needed a stable, secure, and scalable system to manage sensitive health data.
Solution
Motomtech partnered with ShareMy.Health through its Technology Department as a Service model, assigning a dedicated team of 3 Full-Time Developers to support and enhance the platform.
Phase 1
Conceptualization
The engagement began with a deep technical assessment of the existing codebase and infrastructure. Motomtech identified areas where performance and stability could be significantly improved, and began a systematic refactoring of large portions of the legacy code. This not only improved reliability and maintainability but also laid the groundwork for scaling the platform to support broader health services such as medication tracking, mental health programs, and malnutrition initiatives.
Phase 2
Implementation
Motomtech worked closely with stakeholders to implement a wide range of new features that had previously been difficult or impossible to develop with the old architecture. These included enhancements to user workflows, expanded data-sharing capabilities, improved dashboard and reporting tools, and backend upgrades to support secure AI-driven health insights.
Phase 3
Maintenance & Enhancement
Using C# for backend, and React/React Native for the front end, the team also introduced key optimizations in the SQL database layer to ensure faster response times and improved system performance across devices. Compliance, privacy, and data security were treated as top priorities, with all features developed in accordance with healthcare industry standards. Motomtech operated not only as a development partner but as an extension of ShareMy.Health’s internal team—continuously shipping improvements, integrating feedback, and supporting product roadmap execution.
