Challenge

The founding team behind Hyra had a strong vision: transform sales team productivity using actionable performance data, streamlined coaching workflows, and real-time gamification. But while the market demand was clear, they faced significant challenges in aligning this vision with a clear, usable product direction. They lacked the internal resources to translate that vision into a concrete product architecture and needed a structured way to map out diverse user needs across roles like sales reps, managers, and revenue leaders.

Solution

Motomtech partnered with Hyra through its Technology Department as a Service model to bring structure and clarity to the way modern sales teams operate.

Phase 1

Conceptualization

We began by mapping out the entire ecosystem of users and roles within a sales organization. That meant designing for three key user types: employees, managers, and admins. Each would have a tailored experience, with permissions and access to the tools that matched their responsibilities. We also accounted for the structure of growing companies by building around a hierarchy of organizations, locations, departments, and individual team members. This allowed Hyra to support both small teams and large enterprises managing performance across multiple offices or regions.

Phase 2

Software Prototype

At the core of the platform is a robust KPI management system. Managers, VPs, and admins can define performance goals at every level, from company-wide metrics down to individual employee targets. These KPIs can then be tracked in real time, broken down by role or location, and visualized through intuitive dashboards. The system is designed to be both top-down and bottom-up, empowering team leaders to coach effectively while also giving employees ownership of their goals.
