About Bash
Bash is an innovative event service and social networking platform built to bring people off their screens and into real-life experiences. Whether it’s a casual dinner, a birthday bash, a charity fundraiser, or a pop-up concert in your backyard, Bash gives hosts and guests the tools to organize, discover, and enjoy events in a safer, more personal environment. The platform emerged from the vision of creating an alternative to impersonal online dating apps and overpriced nightlife, offering a more intimate, customizable way for people to connect.

Challenge
The Bash team had a bold and expansive vision to build a platform that seamlessly blends event planning, social networking, real-time messaging, in-app payments, and community-building within one intuitive interface. But the scope of this vision came with real challenges. Most off-the-shelf solutions couldn’t support the deeply customized experience Bash needed. The complexity of its features, from RSVP flows and guest permissions to payment integration and user verification, meant a standard event app framework wasn’t going to work. The team also wanted users to feel safe, empowered, and excited to host and attend events. That meant addressing trust-building, user behavior moderation, an
Solution
Motomtech supported Bash through its Technology Department as a Service model, assembling a dedicated team to handle everything from early product definition to launch.
Phase 1
Conceptualization
The platform needed to do more than just manage event logistics. It had to support user verification, social networking, guest management, payments, and real-time interactions, all in one place.
Phase 2
Software Prototype
We developed a web and mobile platform using PHP, React, and React Native, ensuring fast performance and cross-device consistency. The core functionality allows users to create and manage events, send invites, assign tasks, track budgets, and facilitate in-app payments. The system also includes advanced features like smart guest approval workflows, potluck coordination, and attendance tracking.
Phase 3
Implementation
Beyond event logistics, we built out a social layer that includes BashFeed, a space for users to share photos and videos from past events, comment, and engage with other attendees. Features like badges, profiles, and connection suggestions were added to create a more engaging, community-driven experience.
Phase 4
Maintenance & Enhancement
Our team also focused on designing a scalable system architecture and DevOps infrastructure to ensure Bash could grow without performance issues. The result was a secure, modern event and social platform with a strong foundation for future features and monetization strategies.
