Challenge
Poro faced the challenge of bringing together three entirely different user roles: customer, restaurant, and driver, into one cohesive experience. Off-the-shelf tools couldn’t offer the customization they needed. The team wanted more than just a food ordering app, they needed a full ecosystem that supported real-time logistics, dynamic menu management, user-friendly interfaces, and the scalability to grow quickly. Without an internal development team, they lacked the technical bandwidth to bring this idea to life or maintain it as the product matured.
Solution
Motomtech stepped in with its Technology Department as a Service, assembling a dedicated team to own the product from strategy to execution.
Phase 1
Conceptualization & Prototyping
We started by mapping every journey for each user role, whether ordering a meal, managing kitchen operations, or delivering an order. These insights drove the architecture of a modern and scalable platform.
Phase 2
Software Development
We developed a cross-platform mobile app for customers and drivers using React Native, along with a responsive web dashboard for restaurant partners. Customers can browse restaurants, customize meals, place orders, and track deliveries in real time. Drivers receive live delivery updates and optimized routes. Restaurants can update their menus, monitor orders, and access performance metrics.
Phase 3
Implementation
On the backend, we built a robust Node.js system supported by AWS infrastructure to ensure speed, reliability, and scalability. The platform also includes an internal admin system to help Poro’s operations team monitor usage, manage users, and roll out new features efficiently.

Maintenance & Enhancement
By embedding product, design, and engineering experts directly into Poro’s workflow, Motomtech helped transform a bold idea into a polished, high-performance product, ready for the demands of the modern food delivery market.
