The work covered platform requirements mapping, dedicated dashboards for each user role, real-time collaboration on pre-trade documents, e-signature workflows, structured task management, and advanced financial calculators, all defined and prototyped before development.

SmartCaps replaces the spreadsheets, emails, and disconnected tools that financial teams had been using with dedicated dashboards for each user role and real-time document collaboration. Multiple stakeholders can work on pre-trade documents simultaneously, manage approvals, and execute e-signatures directly inside the platform, with structured task management for assigning responsibilities and tracking progress through the cap execution lifecycle.

Motomtech completed a validated blueprint for SmartCaps in 4 weeks, accelerating the platform’s product readiness and technical planning. The conceptualization translated 80% of complex financial workflows into a clear platform that simplified navigation and reduced onboarding time, replacing 3 separate tools with one unified system.

Motomtech used Notion, Miro, and Figma to plan and prototype the SmartCaps platform. These tools supported workflow mapping through direct stakeholder collaboration, wireframe design, and interactive prototypes that allowed financial industry professionals to test user flows and provide feedback before development began.
