Challenge
The challenge was twofold: build a platform that could deliver an engaging and consistent experience for students across devices, while also ensuring that administrators and teachers could easily manage lessons, assignments, and progress tracking through a powerful backend. The team also needed help refining the infrastructure to ensure reliable uptime, smooth deployments, and the flexibility to scale the platform as user demand grew. Without the right technical foundation and execution, the learning experience could suffer from delays, bugs, or inconsistencies, none of which would be acceptable in a modern education environment.
Solution
Motomtech’s Technology Department as a Service was engaged to execute the end-to-end development of Studio Advantage’s platform, covering everything from infrastructure setup to code deployment.
Phase 1
Implementation
We began by designing a clean, scalable software architecture capable of supporting an LMS with real-time interactions, media-heavy content, and multiple user roles. From there, our team built both the web and mobile applications using React and C#, ensuring that each user interface was responsive, intuitive, and visually aligned with the brand. We also deployed a robust DevOps pipeline using AWS services like CloudFormation, Fargate, and ECR to support continuous delivery and performance optimization. This allowed Studio Advantage to launch its MVP quickly and confidently, with all the core functionalities in place, like course management, student dashboards, progress monitoring, and administrative tools.
Phase 2
Maintenance & Enhancement
Following the MVP release, our team transitioned to a support and enhancement phase, working hand-in-hand with the Studio Advantage team to implement new roadmap features. This included user feedback loops, ongoing infrastructure improvements, and interface updates. We maintained an agile feedback cycle with stakeholders to ensure the platform was evolving with the needs of both educators and students. Enhancements were deployed regularly with zero downtime thanks to the mature DevOps practices in place.
